Agatha Christie's Poirot, Series 11

I had purchased the complete Poirot collection from a different vendor. Disc 1 of series 11 was flawed. I was sent a replacement but it was even worse. So I purchased this Series 11 set because they guaranteed the quality. Disc 1 is in PERFECT condition! I truly appreciate the quality control of this vendor!

I like the fact that the series' writers let Poirot becomes more emotional. He shows kindness, empathy and even joy for the main protagonist in each episode's triumphant. And he doesn't forgive the evil doers. Appointment with Death is a standout with the gorgeous Morocco location and sharp visual. It also doesn't have Ariadne Oliver written in. For me, she is a distraction. David Suchet is excellent and entertaining as always. However, I have reservation about the filtered looks of Mrs. McGinty’s Dead, Cat Among the Pigeons, and Third Girl. I understand the film makers want to make the cast looks even more attractive. But I do want to enjoy the art and production designs in sharp details. Anyway, I love the four episodes on this blu ray.

This was the only Poirot set I didn't have so I ordered it for Christmas. Even though they are available to stream, with rights constantly changing, sometimes you can't find the show you want to see. So then you need your trusty CD player. All of the Poirot mysteries are a delight.

Great series and excellent renditions of Agatha Christie's books. I have other Poirot series, but this is my favorite.

This is a nice set of later Poirot episodes. Though not as light and humorous as the earlier series, these are still enjoyable to watch and share. Poirot is not as patient in these shows as he was before. Actor Suchet does it again with his fabulous performance: He is a true British actor. Inspector Japp, Miss Lemon and Capt Hastings are sorely missed.Overall , a great set of videos, though more cerebral in nature than the earlier series.

Very unusual Agatha Christie murder mysteries, with Poirit being the most interesting detective. This is worth adding to your DVD collection.

I loved everything, but am puzzled as to why this store was not included in the US versions. I bought it because I watched the Margaret Rutherford version - different, unfaithful but fun and searched for it here in the US...not in any of the DVDs sold here.

David Suchet in Agatha Christie's Poirot series never fails to deliver. He's a favourite. Poirot is a favourite.

Four more feature length mysteries to solve partly with the aid of crime writer novelist Ariande Oliver in two of them, as she takes over the helm from Captain Hastings and Chief Inspector Japp both helping and hindering.

David Suchet is the best!!Just would like better sound. Music overrides at intervals!!

Great series.

Suchet does it again, and closed captioned as well. This remastered series is worth the price.
