Just as I remembered.
There was a time if you got a Craftsman anything you got a real quality item. Warranty for life even. The warranty is no longer there but the tool is just as I remember it. Great price. Perfect for the cuts I'll be making.

Great little saw.
Cheap decent saw. I was redoing my deck and raising 16' boards was a pain. Used this saw to just cut the decking down into smaller sections and made it so much easier to lift. I wouldn't buy this if you are going to run the heck out of it, but for DIY projects around the house it will work fine for me. Push button lock makes it easy to swap out blades.

Not quite the same as grandpa's craftsman....
This is hard to give an exactly perfect review. I understand people, like me, like to save money. I already had a craftsman that must have been 40 years old, it was great, the motor was just starting to go bad. The thing still cut solid straight lines. I was used to cutting some wood and then just toss the saw down, not throw it across the room or anything, just construction work. But now, and I know this was ridiculous cheap, but the metal on the base and the height adjustment is so cheap this thing is bent after just 2 projects, fights me the whole time trying to cut straight. So, there you go, if you want to save some money and treat this saw gently like a Q-Tip in your ear then great but don't expect it to survive any construction roughness.
