It was an ok jumprope to start with--a little too lightweight. But it did the trick. However, about 1.5 months after we bought it, the rope broke off at one of the handles! We only used it a few times per week! Really poor quality. I would look elsewhere--we're going to have to buy a new rope somewhere else! Save your money and don't buy this rope. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Soak the rope before use *by J***E on Reviewed in the United States on November 7, 2019* The leather was really dry and cracked on getting out of the packaging. ### ⭐⭐ Leather Breaks Fast *by D***E on Reviewed in the United States on September 24, 2019* I've bought two of these. First one snapped after using a couple times a week for a couple months and I just thought it was bad luck. Second snapped after only 4 uses (about 2500 rotations per use). The rope feels great and looks great, it just isn't durable. While it's not expensive, I expected to get more than a handful of sessions out of it. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/101369395-vintage-jump-rope-leather-unisex-10-foot-skipping-rope-classic](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/101369395-vintage-jump-rope-leather-unisex-10-foot-skipping-rope-classic) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
