Funko 5 Star: Game of Thrones - Daenerys Targaryen

After the series finale of GOT who did not want their own portable “mother of dragons breaker of chains“ figurine of their very own? I had my mind set to order the larger version of this. Your regular funko pop’s. I must have flip-flopped 1 million times back-and-forth. But in the end it was two or three things that made me pick this. Number one the price. I’m not lying, it was about a week until my next paycheck, and I wanted it now and not then. Number two, the size. I absolutely loved how it was smaller. Number three, I like that it is unique looking. Number 4, I also like that it is part of a collection with four other collectibles. Last but not least it is really really cute LOL everything about it from the look of Daenerys to her Dragon, absolutely perfect. It’s quite adorable actually. That’s another thing that drew me to it in the end. I liked that it was adorable. Once I received it and opened the box it easily fit in the palm of my hand. I want to say it’s probably about 4 inches tall. I was incredibly impressed with her face, the detail of her hair, coat/dress, even the chain/belt around her top. The little wrinkles in the gloves, The braids in her hair, etc. they did a very good job for a tiny figurine. Not so tiny, but you know what I mean. Her dragon, please forgive me I do not know which dragon this is and I feel really bad about that. If you know please let me know in the comments and please don’t roast me alive LOL Her dragon, looks fierce but not. They made him look really nice with nice detailing for the scales and the wings and a little spikes on the top of his head. I would not exactly call him adorable but he’s definitely cute with some fierceness thrown in there. I put them back in the box but when I go to my new house I am setting up a shelf for things such as this. I’m just trying to figure out where part of the Dragon are going to chill and watch a Over of the land i.e. my apartment and pray that my cat does not knock them onto the ground, then the dog comes by, and picks it up, and chews their heads. It’s going to be a tough, but winter is coming, and only the strong survive! But if you were on the fence because of the size or what have you, I believe that these are a very cool addition to your: figurine/collectible/funkopop family.

I display this figurine on my tv stand. Not only are they cute but are of great quality and detail. Love the addition of the Drogon figurine as well. Great conversation pieces. Daenerys & Drogon will help fill the void for us now that the show is over.

This is a really well designed piece, especially for the price. The figures are both small (I included a pen for size reference). No flaws in the paint job. It's a perfect addition to my collection.

very cute, love the details in the hair. i had it boxed on my bookshelf for about a year but i've just took it out and put it on my desk

Very cute set. I gave it as a gift. My only complaint is that it was a little on the small side.

Useless but so much fun. If you know a fan of the GOT series, then this is a great gift idea. It even has a dragon! How can you go wrong if there is a dragon included?
