Yibuy 100Piece Gold Plated Spring Loaded Probe Thimble Pogo Pin 2mm Pin

I'd never heard of pogo pins, but they solved a problem I had of needing to connect two PCBs in very limited space. I'd like a version of these with a slightly wider pin, but these work fine.

So far so good. They are pins with springs. Pins go in. Pins come out. Can't be better than that

I'm not great at soldering, but I nailed it out of the gate the first time on these pogo pins. Good consistent plunger 🪠 action too.

These are fun little pogo pins. I really like the lip around the bottom, it helps with holding the pin centered and upright when soldering. The springs are strong so I'm not worried about losing connection. The gold plating looks well done and even.

Ok, I rushed my purchase without reading thoroughly. I mistakenly thought these were little mini Cleco fasteners. They aren't. Serendipitously though, I am an electronics nerd and have needed these pins numerous times in the past few years for various repairs of gadgets. I could see these being useful for re-pinning some of the connectors on my DJI Aspire drone (that had aspirations of being a submarine....in salt water). Already got that project unboxed and ready for soldering. I have also needed to make some custom connections for may other devices and these will be right here ready for the next one. These pins are miniscule, even thinner than a watch band retaining clip. It is amazing how nice the quality is on such small item. Every spring that I test worked. All of the ppins are perfectly plated, no visible defects.
