Good everyday fountain pen; writes smoothly and holds a good supply of ink. Multiple pens lets me ink them up with different colors. You can't beat the price.

Had low expectations of this pen and bought it as a starter pen (am a beginner with ink pens). Absolutely amazed at the quality of the build. Very nice feel and weight of pen. I am very pleased with the purchase and use all 4 pens with different inks for office work. Very happy with the medium nib.

The fit and finish is not perfect here, but the pens write pretty well for $5/each. I saw a guy at a pen show selling these pens with upgraded nibs for a fairly high price. The nibs are easy to remove and replace if you want.

What a bargain. All four pens write smoothly and feel solid and well made. The fit and finish far exceed the price. If I had one complaint, it would be that, when posted, the pen is a bit top heavy, but it feels fine unposted. The nib is buttery smooth and is a nice, slightly wet writer.

These pens could be great value for the money. The problem is every time I sit down to use one after it's been sitting for half a day or more, I have to fiddle with it for several minutes before any ink will come out. After owning them for several months I find I don't even bother using them because I don't want to waste time and frustrate myself trying to coax fresh ink into the feed. I find myself picking up a Lamy or TWSBI instead. They cost more, but they work every time. At the end of the day, the price is awesome for these pens and everything else about the pen is great, but if I never use them, it's just a waste of money.

I'd heard good things about the Jinhao X450 from a Twitter user I follow, so after seeing this 4-pack deal for only $18, I pulled the trigger and bought it. I was stunned by the smoothness of the nib, and the fact that the pens come with piston converters pre-installed at this price. I filled one of the pens with Pilot Iroshizuku ink in Momiji color and tested it out on a scratch pad. I can only compare the quality to some of my nicest fountain pens, such as my Sheaffer Snorkel or Parker 51 Special. It's just that nice! As for long-term durability, only time will tell. But at $4.50 each, you can't go wrong, as a nice inexpensive gift for a co-worker or friend, or as a fountain pen to travel with, without the anxiety of potentially losing an expensive pen. If you're on the fence about buying the X450, give it a try!

I love these pens. They look so expensive and write beautifully. I have a lot more expensive pens and these pens are just as good!

Great pen everything about this product is exactly as it says it is. it has a nice heavyweight to it which is great for short term writing for me personally or just signatures since I'm a notary that's very handy and makes for a very excellent signature. The net is a perfect size for amateur fountain pen users and I'm assuming for professional ones to I'm about in the middle.
