Very cute coat! I got extra small, wish there was an xxs option available as my chi is only 3 pounds. Nice quality, says Air Force on the top which I love. The hood is removable, makes it convenient :)

The media could not be loaded.  Measured my 8lb chihuahua mix and determined he would wear a Medium size. I ordered it and it was HUGE! I then returned it and ordered a small and it is so perfect I have never had a sweater or garment fit him so well. The garment is out of the way when he needs to potty. (that is rare) It also keeps him warm so trips outside in the freezing cold last longer than usual. The hood is removable for warmer days. When he is outside the hood shields his ears from frostbite. I like that it has sleeves. The deicer has been a huge problem. This dog has 3 heart conditions, hypothyroid, liver and kidney low function too so he is a special needs pet and reacts horribly to the chems that companies spray in our neighborhood. All this cover is great to shield him from irritants. Also, with more WARMTH! I honestly have to mention one more time the perfect fit!3 NEGATIVES:I wish the lining wasn't synthetic and more an actual down jacket like what a human gets in a winter coat. It needs to be practical for this fur-kid.As some others have mentioned: Where is the slit for dogs that wear a harness. I feel this should be a standard. I will probably create one myself considering how much we love the coat.This coat IS NOT WATERPROOF! The muddy water, salty deicer and grime soak right into the fabric. If I had realized this I have a product that is for protecting vinal and I would have used it. There is no "down" in this jacket just to clarify.

No stretch in leg area.

I ordered this coat for my dog. The coat is described as being an orange/red however in real life it is more of an orange which i still like because it is not a bright pumpkin orange but more of a burned orange. The coat is nicely made. I love the fact that it has buttons that you snap closed and that it has sleeves because it provides more warmth on really cold days. It is not as thick as I had imagined it to be but it has a lining that i think should provide some warmth. The reason that I did not give this coat 5 stars is because it does not have the portal on the back of the coat. I will have to take it to the cleaners and have them put a portal in it or i can put it on him when we are going someone in the car but I would still need to carry him because i could not put his leash on. The other item that would have made this an even better coat are the little strings that come on the back of some coats that allows for a more snug fit on the back of the body because you pull the strings around their legs and they get less of a draft through the back of the coat. I just received the coat and it is beautiful but I am debating about whether or not it makes sense to keep it.

I have 3 chihuahuas. I read reviews that suggested to order a size up, so I did. I am returning all 3 for the next size down. The M was too big for my 8-lb chihuahua who usually wears a size 12 (for body length) in coats. The size small fit him perfectly (but the color I ordered was for one of the other dogs so he can't keep it ;) ). The size S was waaay too big for my other two 6-lb chihuahuas. So I will have ordered them XS. I should have just trusted the size chart (which is always risky, too). Despite my error in ordering the wrong sizes, this coat is EXCELLENT quality! The fabric, the stitching, the hood - all looks very sturdy. I am very pleased with the quality of these coats! And the colors are spot on relative to the photos (I ordered blue, green and cream). Highly recommend.

Love this coat! I’ve found most coats aren’t long enough especially for super cold weather. This is the perfect length- someone even stopped us on our walk and asked if it was a custom coat! Great for blocking out wind and water resistant. I put a small t-shirt on underneath and my dogs was warm and happy! It is not very stretchy so be sure to check the measurements before ordering. The hood can also be taken off. Highly suggest this coat!

Great looking and quality made coat. I just wish it had a small hole for a harness connection on the back. Using a neck collar isn't convenient due to the hood.
