I wanted light bulb that gets power from solar and light sensor. Most of the solar light bulb similar to this one have to be manually turn off switch for it to get recharged from solar. I don't have time for that, I want it to do it all automatically. This is only one i found that meets my desire.. Looking over the review, I was on the fence. Will it work? Would it be bright enough? Would it stay lit all night? It was for my guinea fowls coop/shed. I order it on Saturday midnight, only $10 to lose. It arrived on Monday by noon, very fast shipping. I quickly got it out and turned it on and let it out in the sun, it was cloudy day but it managed to get some sunlight, maybe 2 or 3 hours worth of sun. My husband hook it up in the shed. When darkness falls, we was so very impressed! It was like daylight in there! So bright!! Brighter than my own kitchen, matter of fact! :o @.@ I was telling myself, well, it lit up so good in the beginning and that should help our free roaming guinea fowls feel safe to go in there for bed before we shut them in and help them comfortably sleep, even if it doesn't stay lit all night, I would be happy with this... By morning, 5 AM sharp, I went out and looked in there, still lit! Not as bright, it's dimmer but still bright enough to keep birds happy and comfy. I am so impressed, my husband is so impressed! We cannot go wrong with this! I am ordering 2 or 3 more for various places outdoors around my home!!! Money well spent!*So good, I ordered second product!

Adequate light, like the switch. Panel has not been providing enough power to fully charge the battery in these dark fall days, but if I charge the lamp/battery with a mini USB cord first it works for a at least a week before it stops working. Use it for a shed light for approximately 30 minutes daily, I mean nightly...

I received the 2 itms I ordered on time and since I had previously ordered them was eager to get them up. They did not work. Once attached to barn they do not come off, but in talking with the seller they were very good and offered to refund in full. I wanted them replaced but since I can't send them back the refund will do and I will re-order them. When they work they are awesome and previously ordered ones are working great in the chicken coop!

Never stayed on — regardlss of sun light. Vendor refund my order without me asking and promised quality improvements in the future.

Product says it will last 5 hours fully charged... Only lasts between 1hr and an an hour and half tops... I live in Florida and the solar panel gets at least 9hours of direct sunlight and still only lasts that long.. only got two stars cause it actually works.

Light is dim and doesn’t stay lit for just a few hours.

The light was very low not as described on product description.

I use these in my outbuildings and my chicken coop where I do not have power. Works perfect.
