I got this for my son who was nearly 3 at the time. I needed something new and exciting to distract him during a funeral service. It's definitely larger than I expected, but it's awesome. This has been the one toy he has regularly played with over the last 2.5 years. We thought we lost it at one point and bought a second, then found the original, and he's ecstatic that he has two to crash into each other and race. These things take a beating and have held up crazy well. I give them as gifts for every birthday party we go to for little boys. Great toy!

Like because it's metal made good only wish it was bigger but my grandson will love it

I bought two of these for my 3 year old son for Christmas. My son is SO HARD on his toys. They are made of resl metal and extremely durable. He has thrown them off the second floor onto our hardwood floors multiple times and they are still going strong.Well worth the money. Its January 22nd today and most of his other Christmas gifts have broken. I will be buying more when my monster finally figures out how to destroy them..

This truck is amazing! The wheels are heavy, and rubbery. They have good traction, and have gyro-like effect because of the weight. They make the truck very stable as well. The truck body is metal, and the frame is durable plastic (well made and solid). The wheels have "shock absorption" like design that is simple yet effective to help the truck to go through rough terrain. My son can't put it down! It is his fave toy!

My son just turned 3 yesterday and he loves Monster Trucks and went nuts when he opened it. Seems heavy duty, we will see because he is very rough on his toys. I think it was a very good deal. Real rubber tires and the truck body is metal. We live in the Philippines and this truck is way tougher than anything we can buy here. Well worth shipping 9000 miles.

It''s been almost a month since my son has had this toy and he was able to break it.He's an average 5-year old boy who is not rough compared to most but he loves his hot wheels.Sadly he was able to break a piece of the iron that may cut him if he continues to play and it's not a simple repair.That being said, we may still purchase a replacement but unsure at the moment.

My son takes this truck everywhere. He throws it around outside, smashes it into things, takes it in the bathtub and it has held up EXTREMELY well. It was cheaper in store originally until it sold out and they, no exaggeration, tippled the price so we came back and bought it here for much cheaper than the store's jacked up price. This brand just makes very long lasting cars, my son has a few of them, they are made with more metal than other ones that are 100% plastic.

We have numerous monster trucks in the house, but this one is my son's favorite. At first I wasn't sure if it would be too breakable because the undercarriage looks like plastic. It is plastic, but it's very sturdy. This truck is not breakable unless you throw it off a cliff. It's also got HUGE wheels, even bigger than another monster truck we have that is the same 1:24 scale. The paint job is also very bright and cool looking with red, yellow, and white. Great toy.
