I'm currently using these in a loud factory environment. I got tired of the free ones they had where I work because I couldn't use them properly because they would leave my ears hurting.These roll down very easily, making it easy to put them in properly. They are also soft enough that the ear discomfort is minimal. There are only two downsides. The cord doesn't seem to be attached as firmly to these as some others. The first day I ended up pulling the cord off of one of the plugs. The other types I've used never came apart at all. The noise damping is nice, however, it can make it harder to hear what someone if saying when they are talking.Overall I give it 5 stars, because they work well and they don't hurt my ears.

woah used it at a rave and started to look around I think the people around me are on something. it works man raves are a whole new world using this. just don't eat it trust me try explaining to your docs you have string up there.

These things work remarkably well, and the cord makes them lots more convenient than loose ones. The least-good thing is that there is a knack to inserting them fully and solidly, which I have not net fully mastered. However, if you can't manage to jam these into your ear somehow, you have no business using power tools, or anything else that goes "roar", "whine", or "bang".

I was initially very impressed by how well they fit my ear and how completely they sealed off the noise. But after just a little while i am now on the 4th pair. The first one became too soft quickly and stopped sealing the noise, 2nd and 3rd pairs had the cord fall off almost immediately. At first a 100 pack seemed ridiculous but now i am glad it wasn't a 20 pack or anything like that. So basically they work really well, but not for very long. You will be replacing them often.Considering they're sold in a 100 pack they were probably engineered to fail quickly like that and be disposable like napkins but my Howard Leight Max earplugs were more durable. I was never able to use all 100 of my Howard Leight ear plugs and instead they just failed from old age in storage - the foam became discolored and weak without ever having been used.So you know, either way foam earplugs don't last forever. Whether they are 3M or Howard Leight and whether it is a 100 pack or not, five years from now you will already be on a different 100 pack. People who think the 100 pack will last a lifetime don't have experience with this type of product.My Howard Leight 100 pack lasted me about 8 years. This 3M 100 pack i think will probably last me about 2 years at this rate. But that's fine.I am both impressed and disappointed with this product. Impressed by initial performance and disappointed by its lack of endurance.Would i buy it again ? probably. I think it is neither better nor worse than Howard Leight. It is more comfortable but not as long lasting in my opinion.

My husband really likes these . They are comfortable , fit well , and when wearing them he can remove them for a moment and they just hang around his neck and he can just put them back on. They come packaged individually for sanitization. Exactly what he was looking for.

These are comfortable and reduce the noise input so that I can sleep anywhere. Product came on time and undamaged.

Disappointed as these ended up being too small for my ears. Went to muffs instead.

Works fine but for prolonged use gardeners prefer ear cups
