This is a food grade silicone grease. I bought it to service my old stand mixer. I also used it to service my water softener. O-rings in the softener need food grade grease.

I use this to lubricate the mousse tire inserts on my dirt bike. Works fine, very cost effective.

It's too bad people don't understand how packaging works and may have never bought a bag of potato chips before. The net weight is accurate on my new sealed can of grease. The picture show the gross weight, read as weight of grease and packaging. 455g as marked for my "half full can"
