I can't exactly judge the sound quality since I'm using this adapter with cheap earbuds but they seem to work just fine. I had 2 sets of ear buds that I wanted to plug into my 1/4 port on my speaker and they worked good. The quality of these are on the cheap side for they are very light plastic but if you just need these for an adapter you can't go wrong.. If you are a serious music person who needs the most perfect or defined sound then obviously you want a lot better.

I went looking for the cheapest adapter out there, and I hit the bullseye with these. THEY WORK. That's all I needed. Yeah, they're lightweight and cheap-feeling. They probably will break with more rough use, but I don't care. They do the job, and they were cheap. I've had these for two years with light use and they still work fine. Handy little parts.

I used to have many of these kind of adaptors in my long love affair with high quality audio. I usually bought these at Radio Shack, but since they went out of business I have been relying on Amazon Prime for my adaptors. Being a member for over 12 years I have really enjoyed the prices quality and variety of items available. I still have a vintage Onkyo TX-5000 I bought in the early 80's. I use my prized Radio Shack Optimus PRO 35 headphones which I got at Radio Shack in the 80's. I needed a 1/4" to 3.5 mm adaptor for my TEAC cd player. It works perfectly for my system.

I bought these to use with my keyboard, and they did the job, but the sound quality left much to be desired. two for this price made up for the sound quality.

Not the best quality but will see how they fare, though it looks like one has to handle them with care.
