Very quiet. Great little air compressor.
Super quiet. Very compact and light. No leakage from fittings or hoses. Holds pressure for months. Works great. Power is great. A super value. Very versatile due to its weight. You can have it sitting next to you and most people will not be bothered by the noise.

For the person who has one nail gun or wants to fill their tires
There are better quiet compressors that cost significantly more. But that's the rub. They cost a lot more. For the money it's very good. I run it into a 10 gal. auxiliary air tank fitted with an Air Adjustment Valve so it keeps up just fine and regulates the feed for a single nail gun. I wouldn't have bought it if I didn't already have the extra tank. I bought it for ease of lifting and noise level. It is fantastically light and quiet and produces an impressive volume of air for its size. I'm suspect of its durability

Only for very small tools
Extremely nice compressor, but simply does not supply enough air for almost any application. Maybe for a nail gun or some kind of stapler but it has about one second reserve for an air tool or blow gun. Super quiet and well made though.

EXTREMELY quiet, works great
I’ll never ever, ever buy a non-quiet compressor again. You can be standing right next to it running and have a conversation with someone-indoors even! This one won’t win any awards for capacity but it’s solid, works well, and if your need for a compressor is minimal (like me), this is a perfect fit. Small footprint too.

Didn't work correctly straight outta the box. Metabo support? Fuggedaboudit.
Looked like a good unit when it arrived: brand new, nice construction. Plugged it in and turned it on and it started up: runs real quiet and I'm initially very happy. It gets up to 125psi, and a valve starts venting; turns out there's a valve that opens when you turn the unit off such that the unit will bleed out when it's off and in storage. I guess that's good, but it's not supposed to vent when the unit is on. So I let the unit bleed out, then I turn it back on and it refuses to start. Now I see that the on-board circuit breaker has tripped. I reset it, it hums for a bit, then trips again. Reset it again, and this time it kicks on and stops at 125PSI; no venting this time. I bleed out some air to see when the unit will kick on again, and it doesn't kick on at all. Turns out the breaker has tripped again. OK, so there's issues, but theres this card in the box that says "STOP: DO NOT RETURN this compressor to the retail store. If you have technical issues or concerns, please call us at this number...." So I call. I get connected to some woman who is confused that I would be calling, as they only deal with big retailers. I try to get support by calling the number that Amazon tells me to call, and I get the same response. Like, What? This is such an epic fail on Metabo's part, it makes me wonder what else they screw up. If I could give less than 1 star, I would.

Great little compressor
Super out-of-the-box experience. Everything set to go, just plug it in. True to their word on quiet, charges up quickly. All in all a real deal.

So I used to run the Tools Department at a big box home improvement store. Hitachi/Metabo stuff never came back, contractors loved the quality. I needed a quiet air compressor. This is easily the quietest air compressor I have ever seen. Here's my new air compressor filling the tank for the first time on my desk. That's at 11:23PM in a small wood-framed apartment building. This thing is not silent, but it is very very quiet for an air compressor. I can actually run this thing in the middle of the night without disturbing anyone. My bathroom fan is louder. So this little compressor is quite incredible. It is impressively small, lightweight (weighs less than 24 cans of beer!) and well-balanced on the handle. It is perfectly suited to operating small nailers and filling tires and doing stuff like that. The tank recovery time was impressive, but I have yet to slam it with running my can can crusher. But so far, I am completely impressed. The manual has an exploded diagram of the parts (so you can order replacement parts!!), and it appears to be a two-cylinder oil-free compressor with a short stoke. The motor is in the center and the compressor heads appear to be on opposite sides of the motor, so I would call this a two cylinder compressor. I have seen larger capacity variants of this basic design with three separate motors and six compressor heads. I know it produces the pressure to run my can crusher effectively, but I do not yet know how many cans I will be able to crush per minute. And that is fine with me if I have to go a little slower to accommodate an awesome if maybe a little small compressor for my needs - I live in a small place and I am willing to trade capacity for portability and quietness. The build quality looks and feels great, the packaging was not stupid and respected that this is already a durable jobsite tool which will get scratched up on its first day. It was in a good cardboard box with a plastic bag wrapped around it. That was it. And that was all it needed to be. I love it. If you're into tools, you know when a tool feels good in your hands. This tool feels good in my hands.

Bueno y muy compacto. Tal vez 3.7 litros (1 gal) es muy poco para ciertas aplicaciones.
