I liked the look of this lamp. Had it up just over a year when the light sensor failed. Whole thing started buzzing when it came on, and I was worried it had a short. Electrician came and disconnected the dusk-to-dawn sensor and now it works again, no buzzing, but I have to connect it to a timer. They said they never buy lamps with light sensors, because apparently this is a common failure point.

Like the looks of this lamp. Like that both end caplenses are screw-in, keeping bugs out of the lamp. HOWEVER, while installing this lamp on the wall outside the front door, I found that the "little" round nuts that you tighten with your fingers, are located between the cylinder lamp itself, and the smaller rectangle part the wires are inside of. You have about 1/2" to maybe 3/4" to screw the securing nuts in place. I can only term this a HUGE pain in the tuchus. I mean seriously difficult and time consuming. But once it's attached, it looks great, and looks even better at night.

The light was great for a short while then the dusk/dawn feature failed. A few months later the entire light failed.

It may be good for other people, but it is not working for my needs.

It’s not super high quality but nice look and do the job

I like the light. It offers a modern look. However, it's not as bright as the light it replaced. Our previous light only had one bulb, whereas this one has two but offers less light output. I used the recommended halogen 60w equivilant for both bulbs but I wish it was brighter. May need to try a different type of bulb.

Installed these cylinder fixtures on outside shed wall and on lanai. Easy do. Great clean look. Function with style.

The lights have worked well so far and it looks good. However, the delivery was a disaster. i have ordered 6 in one single order. it was delivered over 4 occasions and i have received only 5. the last one was lost in transit. i planned to use 4 upstairs and 2 downstairs. eventually i had to change my plan and use only 4 upstairs and bought additional two separately for downstairs. the customer service of Amazon asked me to place a new order for the one lost in transit. Is the "lost in transit" my mistake or Amazon's mistake ?
