I was not comfortable using the gaiter belt rehabs give out to use when assisting someone with transfers. They look like strapping tie downs and are a pain to adjust. With this belt, you determine the fit just once and click it into place very quickly and safely. The multiple handles means you can safely stand in various spots and get a nice firm grip. We used this at drs office and they thought it was a terrific device for safe transfers...especially for two persons assisting. The ot and pt therapists all raved about how well this belt works.

This belt is great except that I can’t make it as small as I would like for my mom who was pretty tiny. Nonetheless, the seven handles on the sides and back are great for helping to lift her out out of the chair so she can use the walker and she feels more secure when we walk.

This gait belt has been a life saver for our caregivers and family. It's wide and with an abundance of handles, it makes handling patients much safer and easier ! It's well made and is used every day, all day. The belt is also comfortable for the patient. I would give it 100 stars for top notch in all aspects!!

Well made, worked well when I tested it , but did not work well over a full back brace.

The belt is made of high quality material and well constructed. The extra wide surface of the belt improves comfort for the wearer and the padded handles are easy to grasp. The snap together buckle is heavy duty and much quicker and easier than the traditional traction type buckle; just be sure it snaps fully into place, especially if it's a snug wrap around the person being transferred. We're definitely satisfied.

This is so much better than a simple gait belt for my father. You can have your hand on any of the several handles very unobtrusively and grab if necessary without the chance of digging skin under the belt. Also, the buckle is nice in that you can adjust the belt once, then it is just click on and off. It is very secure for someone who needs assistance with transfers and mobility.

If you need to help someone with balance issues get up or down, or walk, this belt is great. You can get a great grip in different places. It fits well and it not irritating to the person wearing it. My husband was on a care facility and everyone that used the belt commented on how well it worked. We used it to transport him to a chair, and to support him while he was walking with a walker.

I bought this gate belt after my grandmother came home from the hospital really weak. We were able to keep her home until her passing and keep her safe because of this belt. The multiple handles really made me feel safe for her. Only down side was it did give her some underarm bruising but I would contribute that to user error. Highly recommended 👌

My husband has a bit of a gut and I find that I can't get the belt tight enough to have a secure lift. When he does stand up, the belt falls down to his ankles. I can see it working once I get the tightness sort out. Any hints would be appreciated.
