You have to move it manually.
Looks great. Was easy to install. I only woshit worked with the automatic flip switch.

Use a helper, they are heavy
Love them ..perfect length, but I had to modify one bolt, too long. Also if you're truck did not have the puddle or signal lights they will not work..I took mine to the dealer to have it flashed, they wanted 145.00$ and wouldn't guarantee they would work. Also the check engine light is on with a u120e code

Excellent quality, easy installation, and they work perfectly
Received these today, good packaging and quick shipment. Quality is excellent, they look great, and I had zero problems some customers have had with other brands (studs too long, puddle lights not working, rattle while driving, etc.). Installation was straight forward, about an hour or so for both, and tested all the features (especially the temp sensor, which works as well.) Proves you get what you pay for.Highly recommend these to add tow mirrors to your Dodge.

Very good quality except narrow viewing angle on passenger side mirror
Initial impression is that the build quality is quite solid. The power adjustment, puddle lamps, flashers, and temperature sensors all function well (haven't had the chance to use the defrost yet). Fit and finish are nice, no squeaks rattles or whistles, and the chrome seems to be of good quality but time will tell on that one.But I have one big complaint, and that is that the main glass on the passenger mirror is not convex like an oem mirror (which reads "objects in mirror are closer than they appear") to give a wider viewing angle. When flipped up in the towing position they work great, as the smaller convex section is then horizontal and covers all the blind spots very nicely. For towing these mirrors are excellent. But when flipped down in the horizontal position, the smaller convex mirror is vertical and is of very little help. The viewing angle on the main glass is very narrow and there are huge blind spots. I will probably end up adding a small blind spot mirror in the corner of it. (See attached picture to compare viewing angles on original mirrors vs these ones)Another minor complaint is that the bolt is too long on the forward most position. I have read about this on reviews for almost every aftermarket mirror out there for Rams, I'm not sure why that is. But since I was prepared for it I didn't damage the pain on my door jamb, I swapped out the bolts from my factory mirrors. All in all a very good product but I really wish there was a wider viewing angle on the passenger side main mirror. I contacted the seller before ordering to address that concern and they told me they were built to exact OEM specs. Too bad because I probably would have given 5 stars if that were the case.

Caution, no parts availabilty
These mirrors did what their supposed to do. Had no issues until about 2 months ago. The dash temperature readings went crazy, it was early winter where I am. Remember that had to scrape the windows, dash said 136 degrees. did a thorough search with MOPAR and Google. Temperature sensor is in the D/S mirror, just like factory. Upon contacting the seller, there are NO aftermarket parts available for these mirrors. Now I get a check engine light every-time i start the truck. I've spent the money twice to remove the fault code from the ecm.The seller has been of no help with a part number, nor a solution other than buying a new mirror. I guess I'll have to reinstall my factory mirrors.

Mirrors good quality, bolts not so much
The mirrors are nice and solid, good quality. About as good as it gets unless you want factory, or to spend about $300+ per side for a higher quality after market that won't be much better really. If your truck only had power and heated like mine, you will have to go to the dealership to get the computer flashed so that the puddle lights and signals will work.As far as the bolts go, they have a shank section at the end that will need to be cut off. The bolt closest to the door hinges will scratch paint on the body if you don't cut it down.

Check the bolts and mirrors before taking off your old one. I just checked the lights.
These mirrors are great. All the lights work well and the chrome matches my truck. Overall great value for the money. Both mirrors arrived with bent bolts which made them a nightmare to install. I had to take them to an auto body shop to get the bent bolts removed. Then used the original mirror bolt to replace the bent ones. This meant I had to put the door back together and put the old mirror back on. It was rather aggravating. This could probably be mitigated by better supportive packaging.

Decent product
So, as mentioned in other reviews, yes the studs on the mirror need to be shaved down. But that’s it. Direct fit, still a good plug n play. The odd time it does make the truck think a light is out and it hyper flashes but it works out of it. Over all, compared to the cost of a brand new set from the dealership, it’s a good compromise
