Sturdy Saucers
Planters for the balcony could have cost me £30 or £40 each. Instead, I bought some flexible tubs like those that builders use for carrying rubble. These only cost me £6 each. I made about a dozen holes in the bottom of each for drainage. The planters would need to come inside to avoid the frost. That's why I needed these saucers - to catch the excess water when watering the plants indoors. The worry would have been saucers which were flimsy and therefore wobbly. These saucers are of a good solid construction, as flat as a pancake and impossible to wobble. They are perfect for my needs.

Good size offering good protection!
Required a sturdy saucer for large plants reared indoors..The large saucers will catch any water drained from plant pot!
