Used for Amaryllis bulbs.
Got the succulent variety of soil. Seems to be great so far. Really expanded โ like, REALLY. Great texture to the rehydrated soil. Provided enough soul to pot up 9 large amaryllis bulbs in large pots and I have some dehydrate soil left over. Only thing Iโm not sure of is if the non-succulent version would have been better than the succulent version. I donโt think it matters for the amaryllis bulbs. They are def loving it as all have quickly regrown and are starting to bloom. I would imagine this would be really great for someone with limited storage space like an apartment as the bag it comes in is smaller than most soil bags. Some folks complained of dust when they rehydrated it. I avoided that for the most part by 1) using warm water, 2) pouring the water in a few cups at a time, mixing, then pouring more water in and repeating the process. Would def recommend!

Great Product...Read the instructions before use.
This has helped prolong the life of my succulents. Don't be like me and think it's just a bag of dirt...Read the instructions so you don't have to re-pot your plants after you read the instructions and realize you were supposed to wet the dirt down first. Bless my heart. Will buy again if I ever need more dirt.

Great!
Amazing! This is pricey, but it's cheaper than buying each ingredient separately. It's also easier to store and rehydrates well. I see why it's always sold out.

Wonder soil for succulents
I am so impressed with this wonder soul. I love succulents, so this soil makes it so much easy to care for them. It seems to be a small amount when you first see it, but expands to over twice as much when you add water. Amazing product drains any excess rain waiter to keep my cactus healthy and beautiful. Iโm so glad I found this great product at an affordable price!

Its soil it helped my cactus thrive.
I have a 20 year old cactus it started as a tiny cvs plant with those fake flowers ... I needed new pot & soil, this was the soil & so far it's taking to it very well & thriving, my bestie helped me repot it & taught me what to watch for, make sure it's not limp & no mold. So far doing very well.

Okay, needs to be amended, expands and shrinks with watering
This was my first purchase of Wonder Soil and while it does seem to have given some of my plants a boost, I don't think I'll use it again. It needs to be wetted before use, which isn't great for potting new succulents as they need to start out in dry soil until their roots are established, and when it dries it shrinks substantially, so it is hard to tell how much to use. You 100% need to use a mask when you work with it dry as the dust is terrible and flies everywhere. I wanted to try this to get away from peat based soil, which has a terrible environmental impact, but it just didn't cut it for me. It definitely needs to be heavily amended with grit as all bagged succulent soils do. It dries very dusty so since all my plants are in front of fans the dust flies everywhere and covers the tops of my plants. It is so fine that when you water it just dissolves and runs out the bottom of the pots. I'm back to Espoma until I find something peat free that has a bit more weight and does not shrink and expand the way this does.
