Raypack 006707F Return Header with Gaskets

Getting the gasket to sit properly is HARD. Watching some videos on youtube after I did it, I should have used a LOT of grease to get it to sit right.Lesson learned.

First of all, I was surprised the part was available because several pool contractors that I hired to make the repair told me the part was on backorder and not available until next year. I found the part on Amazon and after researching how to install it I was able to install the part myself in about 30 minutes. I saved about $400 doing this myself.

Meh, it's a plastic return header. The drain plug is still leaking even after copious amounts of plumber's tape.Would be nice if this were made of metal. The reason I had to replace this was because the threads are plastic and it's really easy to strip them out.

It was perfect and got quick too . It's hard to find parts like this . Amazon made my job on the heater go smothe and saved soooo! Much time getting the RIGHT PART !

Hole pattern is perfect, the extra pieces of insulation were an added bonus. Unit works great. Only took 15 minutes to install.
