Bosch PKP 18E GN Hot Melt Glue Gun / PKP 18E GN

This is an excellent product, even though it has a cord. It’s easy to use it heats up quickly and very lightweight.

This Gun is excellent. It works really smooth and precise. The gun is Multi voltage 115 - 230V at 50/60Hz. It was build for Germany as the German Power plug indicates. Adapter for US was in the box. I also noticed the Steinel label on the box (see picture). Steinel is actually a very reputable German manufacturer of commercial hot glue guns and around for many years. The attached picture of their website showed, this Bosch glue gun is actually a "Steinel Gluefix 3002" just in Bosch green. You can also find the original Steinel gun here on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/Steinel-33241-3002-Glue-Gun/dp/B000MER42G/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1510172662&sr=8-5&keywords=steinel+glue+gun) for $57. It appears Steinel manufactured this glue gun for Bosch in their Romania plant.

Didn't come with the adapter. So I had to cut of the plug and put on my own. The nozzle is small, but effective.

This gun seems to be made well. Designed in Germany, made in Romania. All the other brands of guns are made in china. Not that all Chinese made products are bad but good luck knowing which ones are. If Bosch had it made in china I would buy it because it would more than likely be made to there standards of quality. The name Bosch says it all.

Heats up quickly. I may still be learning how to use it on crafts, but still have difficulties of dealing with the drips and stray glue strings coming from the tip. But it’s kinda impossible to avoid that issue with any glue gun. Overall a good gun and makes my crafting quick.

There are many sub par glue guns out there. This one is nice quality and feels like a haven duty tool in your hand.

Questa pistola incollatrice Bosch è diventata una delle mie compagne preferite nei lavori di bricolage. Si scalda velocemente (basta davvero poco tempo per iniziare a lavorare) e l’ugello allungato è una manna quando bisogna infilarsi in angoli stretti o applicare la colla con precisione millimetrica. La resa è ottima su diversi materiali: legno, plastica, piccoli oggetti da riparare o progetti creativi. La presa ergonomica la rende comoda anche se la usi a lungo, e il sistema di spegnimento automatico aggiunge quel livello di sicurezza in più che non guasta mai: niente più ansie da “oddio, l’ho dimenticata accesa!”. Unico appunto: non la consiglierei a chi non ha mai preso in mano una pistola a caldo. Serve un minimo di pratica per gestirla bene e non trasformare il progetto in un blob di colla fusa. In sintesi: solida, affidabile, con un design pensato per facilitare il lavoro. Non è un giocattolo, ma per chi ama il fai-da-te è un acquisto che vale ogni euro speso.
