12.5mmx9.5mm Black Oval Safety Eyes/Plastic Eyes - 20 Pairs

These are perfect hello kitty eyes. They are however quite difficult to attach.

I bought these last year for a crochet project. And this year, when I pulled them out again, I briefly forgot that they are the absolute worst. I hate them enough to come back here to review them. There’s no reason for the backs to be this hard to get on. It’s like they’re meant for a completely different size of eye. They just don’t fit. It’s impossible to do without tools, and difficult even with tools. I’ve bought so many safety eyes and never had ones this difficult to use.I’ve just managed to attach one to the little duck I’m making. It’s taken over an hour. I ended up using pliers to stretch the back out a little and was finally able to force it one. And now the dang eye is all scratched up even though I had cloth covering it. I don’t think it’s possible to get the stupid thing back off now, so I’m gonna have to frog the whole project. Go find different eyes. Trust me. These ones aren’t worth the time, pain, and injured fingers.

I wish I read reviews before buying them. The backs don't fit and are impossible to get on. Totally useless and a waste of money.

If you want to struggle to get them on, then need (for any reason) to take them out....forget it! These are the worst safety eyes for the craft person. I ruined one too many projects trying to use them. Never again!

I needed these for an amigurumi I was making for its eyes, when trying to attach the back it was impossible. Wasn't able to use them I had to find something else

The backs to the safety eyes wouldn't fit onto the actual safety eyes. Therefore, they are unusable
