Good replacement for old cap
2002 Jeep Wrangler Sport 4.0 Used this to replace my old OEM radiator cap, looks good and the lock works. Doesnโt seem to fit as tight as the OEM one but it holds pressure. The sticker on it seems like it may eventually come off.

Perfect replacement
Installed on a 2004 Grand Cherokee with the 4.7. Direct replacement for OEM. I will now ALWAYS use the lever type pressure release. It has been a while, but I have on occasion had to remove a cap under pressure. This style cap redirects the release to your overflow tank instead of blasting a geyser of 220+ coolant everywhere, not only potential for burns, but sometime the cap rockets off with the pressure. Do yourself or your mechanic a favor and get the safety lever!

Very hard to rotate
Fit is off slightly and makes for a difficult install. Hard to turn

This fits securely and works
I use this on my Jeep Wrangler. I used one on my older cars, and glad I decided to get one for my now old jeep. There has not been coolant leaks or the like. The price was right as well.

Comes overspray
I bought a aluminum 3 row radiator but because of engine issues and the cap that came with the radiator overspray was impossible to over come. This cap allowed me to send the overstay to the reservoir and sealed great.

Lasted 1 day, is it a bad copy?
Broke after 1 day, all the little pieces and springs left in the radiator neck, there is a little plastic piece that is attached to the lever that has a void under the lift cam, it shattered and came apart. Very disappointed as I have been using these for 30 years, they are supposed to be a better cap and always have been until now (?) I ended up having to buy a replacement cap, from the local car parts store, very different brands until and I compared the molding marks in the two and I am certain they are from the same third party manufacturer in Mexico, I am sad these prices just keep going up and the quality does notโฆ
