I'm not really a fussy china person, but we have a set of Lennox that has been handed down that is simple and includes a metallic ring around the edges. When I saw this platter I knew that it would go *perfectly* and even add some pizazz in the form of the design. The packaging makes it feel special when you get it - a Kate Spade box that is perfect for gifting or just treating yourself. The platter itself is not too heavy, but seems very sturdy. The size is perfect for a serving dish and has the added bonus of being dishwasher safe. I would recommend this dish to anyone and everyone. It will join my regular rotation of dishes, china or not.

The product photos really don't do the platter justice. My wife received this as her birthday gift and absolutely loved it. This is not something you would use everyday but would be perfect for those special occasions when you have company over. The platinum pattern of branches and leaves look stunning. The overall clear coat layer keeps the platter shiny and looking great. As with other Kate Spade dinnerware, the box itself looks amazing and is worth keeping.

Beautiful white, fine bone china and platinum make a lovely combination in this gorgeous platter from Kate Spade. It goes very nicely with my Mikasa Del Ray bone china everyday dishes as well as with our special occasions dishes which have silver rims. In my experience, bone china is light but very strong and I expect this will hold up very well.The platter comes in a lovely gift box that is perfect for presenting to a friend or family member. Honestly, I would not hesitate to gift this platter to anyone getting married.

The box this comes in is a keeper itself!Signature bright pink with orange interior & gold Kate Spade lettering... lift the lid & you’ll see this very well protected platter.It’s really pretty: Arctic white Lenox china with delicate silver graphic branches & leaves wrapping one side. The edge is trimmed in the same silver.It’s simple enough to blend in with other sets as I’ll be doing or ready to go as a gorgeous gift!

So pretty. I had to use it right away for an impromptu celebration, even though the round cake wasn't exactly best-suited to it (see pic 01). Love the platinum design of branches with small leaf on this white oval platter. It's a medium-sized platter, which would be ideal for our typical vegetable-dish serving. Or a platter of appetizer or dessert. Good enough thickness. Not so heavy. I'd love to have the larger size of this to have a matching set.Well-recommended.

Super beautiful and contemporary platter. This would make a lovely gift for a wedding, bridal shower, or any friend who loves designer brands and entertaining. It came well packaged in a totally giftable box. It is not a huge platter, but bigger than a large dinner plate. Just enough to separate it visually from dinner plates on the table. Perfect for serving a side dish or appetizers, but honesty so pretty you could even just display it as art.

This platter is quite beautiful and well pictured here. The only downside (and it is buyer beware) is that it is fairly small - only by 10 by 13 inches - about the size of my MacBook pro.The silvery pattern on the plate is quite attractive (and earns compliments) -- A real plus of this fine plate is that is dishwasher safe (also comes very nicely packaged if you are giving it as a gift).Highly recommended!
