Manna Pro Organic Starter Crumble Complete Feed | Made with 19% Protein, USDA & Non-GMO | 5 Pounds

Actually, I’ve been ordering the non medicated Manna Pro Chick Starter and have had no issues with my chicks whatsoever. I started them on this feed when they first arrived at 3 days old and they are 4 weeks old now and thriving. Feeding instructions are on the package and I’ve followed those instructions.

Baby chicks love this stuff. They didn’t seem to have a hard time eating the pieces, or if they did... they peck at the bigger crumbles to make them smaller, crumbles break easily. Chicks poop looks healthy. Chicks seem to be developing well, feathering out nicely, and their structure isn’t lacking anywhere. They love this stuff, it’s expensive, but I wanted them to have organic feed, as we want organic eggs, and for the chicks to have a good foundational start in life. Also Mixes well with crushed fruit to add in as a treat! Would buy again for the next baby chicks

Brand new chicks find it easier to eat the crumbles if you grind them down a little . I just crushed the crumbles a little bit and put them in the feeder chicks seem to like the crumbles and we are at day 4 and they are thriving .

This is the food I started my ten chicks on. They loved it and it served them well, as they grew into magnificent healthy chickens. I ordered these tiny bags over and over from Amazon for my chicks during their first 11 weeks or so. But the price for this food is crazy expensive. I am not sure why. Larger bags are available through Walmart and they too cost an arm and a leg. Maybe it's time for Manna Pro to reconsider their absurd pricing of this food.

My chicks really love it and are growing well on it. No signs of diarrhea or other problems so far. Good consistency and texture. Light so easy for them to eat with their little beaks. I like the ingredients. It’s a little bag buts there’s a lot in there so it goes a long ways.

I’m using the food for two baby silkies. They had been on Nutrena from the breeder, but I switched about a week ago as I didn’t want to buy 50 lbs. I chose the Mana Pro brand as I had used some of their products in the long ago past. The babies have gained about an ounce each in the past week and they seem to really like it. At this age I grind the crumbles into a powder before giving it to them.

This is the second purchase of this starter. It lasted less than a week for 18 chicks. Why did I get 18 chicks???? Wish they made larger bag sizes and therefore a better price. Had to grind down pieces of the first bag for the first week as the pieces were too large for their little beaks but the second week, did not have to grind. Chicks are growing like crazy so this must be good food.

I have chicks that come thru my workplace . Sometimes their not picked up right away and I feed and water if needed.This works for ducklings or chicks.I ordered Jan/feb 2020 date expires is July 2020.I wish the use by date was further along.
