The batteries for all three components lasted the entire 12 months which I was happy about, but changed them today to start the new year. I located the temperature monitor inside my garden shed and so it has given me a good idea of what the temperature will be like outside. For sure the 'see-saw' rain monitoring mechanism cannot be super-accurate (this was made clear in the product description) and leads to an underestimate of the actual rainfall, but it has certainly given me a proportional readout of the rainfall levels compared with a professional weather station a few miles away.
