Russell Athletic Big Boys' Essential Short Sleeve Tee

I am pleased with this shirt overall, it was colorfast after washing and it fits my son very well. The material is quite sturdy and I was impressed with the quality. My only caution in ordering would be with the sizing. I ordered this shirt in a size Large for my 13 year-old son based on the size chart that was linked to the listing for the shirt. My son is extremely thin, and based on the measurements listed for a size Large, I was expecting this shirt to be roomy on my son. The shirt runs narrow; it fits my son well at the moment but there is very little (if any) room for him to grow. If my son was an average weight the shirt would be too small for him. So my advice would be to order the shirt in a size a bit larger than what your child needs.Overall, this is a good basic T at a great price. Just watch the sizing and I think you'll be pleased with your purchase.

These run just a tad on the large size, but not enough to size down. I purchased these and the MJ Soffe Pro Weight short sleeved tees. I could tell right out of the box that the Russell were better quality. I decided to give the Soffe shirts a go as well. After one wash, following directions, the Soffe shirts shrank multiple sizes (my son is a small kid and his belly shows in the washed Soffe shirts.) The Russell did great and became even softer and more comfortable. I am returning the Soffe shirts and ordering more of the Russells.

I have a number of grandchildren which makes it challenging financially for my son to afford "back to school". Each year I buy my one grandsons clothing and they get all the girls items. Amazon really is a Godsend for me. I am able to buy 10 shorts (we live in Hawaii), 10 shirts, 10 socks black, 10 socks white, 10 pairs boxers and a jacket for him very reasonably priced. I especially appreciate that those items are good quality brand name items providing style, durability and fair pricing. My grandson and my bank account thanks you.

I got this item for my son for gym class and I ordered a 12-14 according to the size chart. Well it was a little big, but still wearable for him. The size chart is a little off in its estimate, but here's a tip: if your child runs on the smaller range of the sizes, order one size smaller. It should fit fine.

Size seemed to be fine until I washed it. Then I wished I had purchased a bigger size. Material & quality of workmanship is good though compared to some where it’s obvious that the manufacturer was trying to get as many shirts out of the bolt of fabric as possible.

Just what I needed and it came so fast. I got it in two days. Plain white T-shirt but it’s what i needed to make my sons bday shirt. He usually wears a 4T and I ordered the xsmall and it wasn’t too big. I messed up on his name so I ordered a second one but decided not to use it just yet. He loves it. Excuse the ketchup on the second pic- messy eater. I’ve washed it twice and still looks good

Best t-shirt out there - I was looking for a t-shirt that was as thin as my patience and didn't have a v-neck as most girls shirts have. Perfect.

I ordered two shirts for a tie dye project for my grandsons, and was very pleased with sizing and quality. Perfect for this project and they love wearing them!
