Helpful and easy to use but limited functionality, and broke after 9 months use
I have used this device several times a week since purchasing it February 2015. So far the enamel has not chipped off the functional parts, but it has chipped off the contact point where the green bowl lever meets the yellow handle, and if the chip spreads to the bowl the device will have to be discarded. The two-size press is useful, but it still does not work for very large lemons and it does not get enough juice from thick-skinned lemons or limes: the skin clumps against itself and cannot be compressed. Large lemons must be quartered and the pieces do not fit well into the concavity. Like a recent reviewer (Jeffrey Pritt) I have great reservations about the strength of the rivet that forms the lever for the entire device and keep fearing that if I press too hard it will break (as it did for him).UPDATE: November, 7, 2015. While squeezing a lemon, one of the two flat metal struts that connect the green bowl to the hinge broke. The underlying metal is that cheap, friable crystallized zinc that breaks easily (but probably accepts enamel well). Bru-joy provided a gift code for a replacement through Amazon but buyer pays shipping costs.UPDATE July 5, 2017. The replacement squeezer that Bru-joy sent has held up structurally for 20 months against very strong squeezing, but it still fails as a citrus press because the enameled surface chips away from normal use and exposes the toxic aluminum metal that the press is made of. The acid from the citrus fruits leaches the toxic aluminum with all the health hazards--probably including Alzheimer's Disease--that aluminum produces. Please see final two photos for details and take my word that there is no enamel whatsoever inside the holes. I am upset that I used it this long without noticing or understanding this.UPDATE July 22, 2017. The maker promises "We Stand By Our Product: The Bru Joy citrus press is backed by a Hassle Free, Premium Lifetime Replacement Guarantee!" I twice requested a replacement press from them for the press because of chipped enamel and sent them the pictures attached to this review and received no response. So Bru Joy is not honoring its warranty for chipped enamel. This means that even if the hinge does not break you will have at best a year or so of regular use before the citrus juice leaches the aluminum after the enamel chips off.

Lemonade Disaster
I was very excited about receiving this because I had just received an enormous amount of lemons from a friend with a lemon tree that needed to be processed. Right when it got to my door, I opened the box, cleaned it and began squeezing lemons. At first, I thought it was great! Seemed sturdy and it got way more of the juice out of the lemons than I could by hand. Then, disaster struck. While I was squeezing probably the 15th lemon, I heard and felt a big pop. At first, I couldn't find the source of the pop and thought it might have been a seed being smashed. So I continued and about five lemons later, I heard and felt a pop again. This time however, when I opened the squeezer, the entire green bowl fell out of the squeezer and clanged onto my counter. What had popped was the two small slivers of coated metal holding the green bowl to the hinge part. I tried to see if it would still work by manually holding the green bowl in there or not using the green bowl at all but all of my efforts failed. Also, know that I am a small woman that was squeezing the lemons with what I thought was a very normal amount of force, not hulk style. So for it to break after no more than 20 lemons was disappointing. The reason that this still got two stars however is that I contacted the seller and had it sent back (free shipping) the same day that I got it and got a full refund when they received my defective product, it was in my house for a whole two hours from when it arrived at my door to being sent back.

Great for Lemons and Limes & Margaritas!
Pros:-This is a metal juice press. - The photos make it look like plastic or ceramic.-Two sizing options so you can easily fit a large Lemon or Lime-Easy to clean up, simply wash off and dry by hand.-Easy to use with decent gripCons:-Slight defect (as shown in photo) which make for a sharp edge on the inside of the handle. I actually ordered two of these by mistake, one of them was very sharp so I returned it. Not enough to take away a star. simply an observation.-Paint seems to scratch off if you press to hard, again not a big deal but something I noticedOther thoughts:-Wish this item had a rubberized grip, it would make it perfect.-I use this for making fresh drink such as Margaritas & Mojitos. Call me a hipster but I just don't like the pre-packaged stuff and this tool makes juice extraction easy and fun!-Overall, this is a great product and I recommend it. Just be gental with it.

Wish I had this sooner!
I’ve always used the reamer-type hand juicers for juicing lemons and limes (or just juiced them with my fingers). While they worked well, they took a while when juicing lots of fruit, and they always managed to get juice all over my hands (which is especially painful when I’d try to juice a lemon and had a paper cut somewhere!).I saw a similar juicer to this get good reviews on America’s Test Kitchen, but was put off by the fact that you had to buy separate juicers for lemons and limes. When I saw this combo juicer, I knew I had to try it!As long as you remember to put the lemon or lime in with the cut side facing down towards the holes, this juicer works great (I've seen too many YouTube chefs who use these skin side down instead). It extracts almost as much juice as my old reamer, but it's much faster and less messy. It’s easy to clean (most of the time I just have to rinse it under the sink), and it takes up less drawer space than I thought it would.I wish I’d switched to this press-style of juicer sooner, and I love that this Bru Joy one has the two sizes built in for lemons and limes. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a third size for oranges!
