GiroRatio MIPS Ski Helmet - Snowboard Helmet for Men, Women & Youth

I always like Giro helmet from my MTB experience. This helmet has great looking design, adjustable vents, and removable ear pads that can easily add a Bluetooth speaker. I took out the o-shaped form pieces and inserted $13 BT speakers/mic in 2 minutes. Works great and comfortable.

The MIPS design is one you need to get. Great comfortable helmet, fits snug, has a dial that you can adjust for snugness. air vents that close when it's snowing or really cold. All around, great deal.

Awesome helmet and perfect fit at a reasonable price. I always have a hard time with helmets. My head tends to be too big even for the largest sizes. This fit perfectly on the first use. Any adjustments can be made quickly and easily with the fit system. It takes seconds to dial in the perfect fit. The ear pads are easily removed for warmer weather.This helmet has pretty much all the features (including MIPS) you need with the ability to add accessories easily, too. For under $100, you can't beat this helmet.

I just returned from 4 days of skiing @ Cerro Castor in S. Argentina. This helmet got tested and a workout since I haven’t skied in 40 years. The helmet took several good hits before I got my long lost balance back. The vents kept my head cool and worked nicely with my Giro googles.

Too bulbous, getting rid of.I am 5’2”, weigh 114lbs, but a bigger head, looked at the size chart and got a medium. Fits perfect. Feels good. Had a white scuff mark but it rubs off. Ear pieces removable. Color: purplish/wine/maroon mixture. It does have MIPS.

It's highly adjustable which is a must for me since in colder weather I wear a helmet liner, and need to adjust the size. All helmets should offer adjust-ability! I also like that it has a MIPS layer, and it's warm. Hopefully, never have to test how well it holds up to a ski accident.

Needed to get a new ski helmet. Ordered two helmets ..this Giro Ratio MIPS size XL and a Giro Union MIPS size XL for a ski trip in February. Both arrived today Both fit and feel wonderful...This ‘Ratio’ model is just ‘bigger’. Bigger shell and its heavier ..quite a bit heavier. With a large XL sized head the Ratio just looked oddly large. Paid $99 each and I think the Union is typically in the $160 range but priced at $99..I will return the Ratio because the ‘larger’ shell and weight just aren’t as attractive as the Union model...( my Smith googles fit both models well).

It’s Looks cool and keeps me safe. Great price!

Der Helm macht einen sehr guten Eindruck.Er ist super verarbeitet, lässt sich leicht einstellen und ist sehr bequem. Die Lüftungsöffnung funktioniert ebenfalls hervorragend und leichtgängig.So kann es in die neue Wintersaison gehen! :)

I bought this because it has Mips. I already had a standard Giro helmet which fits well and I'd always liked so bought a new one hoping for added safety It also fits well and fortunately so far I haven't tested this safety feature. It arrived very quickly despite coming directly from Germany.
