The bag itself is built well and the seams are welded, and totally waterproof. The problem is the opening is reinforced with nylon webbing, instead of rubber, like most dry bags. The nylon allows the water to seep into the bag, no matter how many time you roll the seal over.Bottom line, this bag is not waterproof ### ⭐ Beware! *by M***N on Reviewed in the United States on July 7, 2021* Product claims to be 10 liters but they are actually closer to 2 or maybe 3 liters at most. We thought maybe it was just a mistake with getting the wrong product but after sending back and getting new items (after explaining the issue), the verified product indeed was much smaller than was advertised. Just beware if you need a lot of size because the 10 liter appears so much smaller than what is being advertised. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not completely waterproof *by S***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2019* Used this on top of my stand up paddle board. It was splashed but never immersed in the water - there was moisture inside at the end of 2 hours. As someone else mentioned, I think it's probably because the top is a plain nylon strap that doesn't truly seal. I'm going to try to add a thin strip of silicone sealant on top of the nylong and see if that helps. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/100054045-2l-3l-5l-10l-15l-20l-30l-500d-tarpaulin-heavey](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/100054045-2l-3l-5l-10l-15l-20l-30l-500d-tarpaulin-heavey) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
