I love this coop for the price it is! It definitely is a stater coop for grow outs if you use it for chickens. I have 4 grows out in it now and I definitely wouldn’t do more that. Even when they are full grown regular breeds or bantam breeds I’d only use this coop for 4 chickens and that’s if they are completely free range all day. I would not let them just live in this thing as the run is very small as is the coop. But for the price it’s a fantastic rabbit pen or stater coop for some baby chicks. The material has held up in some rain so far, it wasn’t hard to put together.

Really good. Worth the money. You should keep in mind you are only paying close to $200. We decided to coat with Thompson Water Seal on the inside and out parts on it before we put it together because of some reviews. No swelling at all. We bought a total of 3 coups a month or two apart...one at a time. We wouldn't have done that if we didn't see the value. There were some dings, it's coming from China just saying. That is why it's not 5 star. One had one that had a split piece of wood, but we mended with wood glue and water sealed. We attached all three with some modifications. Have some common sense when putting together and it's great. We added handles for the hinged roof points on the chicken run. Makes it easier. For the money and verses the time and material and time planning we would have spent at least as much and taken more time to build. The slide out trays are great. Helps us have a sanitary coop with little effort. Would buy again, we did.

This is a very small coop, I do use it for broody silkies. Door is only locked at night. All the girls can come and go during the day. They all have their favorite coop (I have 3 pawhuts, and getting ready to buy a 4th). Last year I bought this coop in May. In September we had a powerful hurricane slam into us. Neighbors large trees (6 of them), came down and did damage to yard and home. Largest tree came down on this coop and coop was standing and tree was being held up by it. My Muscovy hen was on eggs and was safe and sound in it. The attached pen was bent, but held up. Door came loose, but was easily fixed. This came with instructions and took an hour to put together. Outside pen doesn’t really attach securely to coop, but I used wire ties to sung it up. Electric drill makes this simple to put together. Boxing was intact, company emailed me to see if I got my delivery and if it was ok! My chickens are free range, but return to coops at night. For best experience always lock doors at night.

Easy to put together really thin wood. Some gaps In between the boards. I am a first time with chickens, this is one I would say NO on. It is falling apart! The metal handle for the door broke off. The top lid is breaking off from opening. The poles inside are not high enough. Big enough for only two. So we are having to fix and add things to it for it to last and work. Would like to return if I could

I like the design of this coop, with its elevation, nesting box, ventilation, and ramp. It loses one star for being made of cheap wood, with the top edge of one side already broken upon arrival (not worth the time and effort to return, considering the weight and the fact that the damage did not preclude assembly). The silver lining to the cheap wood cloud was that it was relatively easy to insert screws even in the many locations where the starter holes were missing or barely there. The assembly instructions are abysmal, with no text and poor illustrations. Working by my arthritic self and without a power screwdriver, it took about half a day to assemble. (Compare this to my experience with the New Age Pet ecoFLEX Chicken Barn, which was an absolute joy to assemble but whose overall design could use some improvement.) Considering the poor quality of the wood, I don't expect it to last a long time, but at this price point that's sort of a given and I am not deducting stars for that.

Bought this hut for my two bunnies to have a play area outside, and I'm super pleased with it. It's spacious enough for both of them, provides a play area underneath, and a more secluded area on the top. I want to keep them as house bunnies, so this is just for "outside time." Though, it would be a good house for all the time, too. Except, I would worry about them not being off the ground because predators could maybe get to them (the wire seems strong enough, but I would worry about snakes, or something like that). We have this on our deck which raised from the ground, and we've secured the locks in case a raccoon or something might happen to come by. It seems very sturdy, and I love the fact that you can lock the bunnies in the top half and then the roof opens for easy access. All in all, great price and the bunnies love it!

This thing is cheap and not meant to last. Three months in, stuff is falling apart. They sent me perches that were too short to bridge the gaps meant for them within the nesting box, so I drove some nails into the ends to lengthen them, but the wood is soft. They won't stay. A few weeks in, the perches keep falling out of the nesting box when I open the bottom tray for cleaning. The sliding door mechanism lasted about a week, the screw fell out and one of my hens ate it, now I just have it duct taped. Dirt builds up in the door slide groove which has to be hosed out often or the door won't shut anyway. The latches are really cheap and several have broken already so I just wired the top shut. I'd say if you can build your own coop, do it. I wish I had!

Easy to assemble - a little tweaking needed to get a couple of nestbox screws past the framework. The instructions are a series of diagrams, so look at them carefully and separate the pieces first. Be sure to get the nestbox on the correct side of the wall when screwing it together. The overall fit was good and secure. A very affordable product. The access doors and venting options are very nice. This is not a huge coop, but is a perfect size for my pullets until they are ready for the Big House.
