Since we sometimes (doubtless not the best move) use our fire pit for burning very hot things like manzanita debris, the screening on the lid to the fire pit got destroyed. This replacement is the perfect fit and of high quality. The handle is nicer than our original one. So glad it was available at a fair price.

The fire screen just arrived and the quality looks very good, the stainless is non magnetic which indicates it is a good quality stainless. It is beautiful to look at but I understand it won’t be after it is used. I expect it to turn dark and know the screen may warp but I’m OK with that and know that is normal for stainless steel. I think it will hold up and not rust through which is why I spent the extra money for stainless

A good bargain. You can pay many times this much. It works, although it warped and turned white after the first use (maybe they all do that). It is still serviceable, and keeps big pieces of ash or cinders from flying. I actually bought it so my dog would quit digging in the ash, but I like it for when I have paper or other sparks flying that I don't want to worry about. The handle doesn't really fit the holes, but if you put a washer on each side of the screen, it goes together nicely. Basically, the holes provided for the handle are about twice as big as the handle would need, so the nut tries to walk right through the hole. An easy fix if you have washers around. I'm not sure why the holes don't match the hardware, or why washers weren't included, but for the $50 I saved, I can provide a couple washers. I like it, and I'd recommend it to anybody except if they want something very ornamental.

This screen arrived yesterday. Excellent item! It was well packaged, arrived quickly, and is definitely heavy duty. More of a wire mesh (which is what I wanted) than a screen. Looking forward to being able to use burn barrel with less flying spark worries.

So, my house caught fire in March 2021. I lived in a pretty bad neighborhood, but I liked it. I worked hard to clean up my block. Soi moved with my GF into a bluecollar suburban area. I lived in a near war zone before. Nothing ever got stolen fromy porch. But someone gave me a fire pit, and it got stolen a week later here. So a friend made me a fire pit that weighs a ton. But being that some think I'm a boy scout, I am with fire. So I needed a mesh cover. It is a little big for the fire pit, but works right, covers it, and keeps it safe. And the lid lifter/log mover adds perfectly. I have zero regrets getting this.

Way higher quality than expected, especially for the price. Item is thick metal and heavy.

Disappointed that the screen had a few dents, a scratch and there was a little rust on the frame as well. For the price, I expected better. It was packaged very well and the box was not dented so it can’t be blamed in delivery service. Not worth my time to rebox and send it back so I will deal.

Adapted way to my fire pit and screen controls sparks from escaping, recommend this item

Good bang for your buck for a 27" screen. It seems fairly solid, but I still don't know how it reacts to heat.
